THE WEEK AT VENOMLINE POCKET AMERICAN BULLY BREEDERS
It’s been a busy past few weeks at Venomline Pocket Bully Kennels
After traveling back home to Houston for a best friend’s funeral to say our goodbyes, we boarded the plane back home (South Florida). Since our arrival back in town it’s been non-stop as we did our best to catch up from the week off for travel and services. Staying busy was probably a good thing, as it helped keep me out of my head. At least during the day time. This one hurt, bad. Rest in Peace Jason Michael Spillane, you were as real as they make em’ and a loyal, true friend. You will not be forgotten.
As quickly as we left, we were back in town and back to work as usual. Even while out of town, we met every Stud Service appointment without missing a beat. And as soon as we landed — my phone was already going off: Stud requests, Vet appointments, Customers ready to make picks on litters, breedings that needed to be completed, and Customers that had traveled in were ready to pick up their new pups off our recent litters.
BUCKS COUNTY BULLIES ARRIVES
Shoutout to Bucks County Bullies for making the trip down to South Florida from PA! BCB came down to meet, put hands on the dogs and pick up their newest addition: a King V daughter from King V & Xena. They also traveled down with their Venom daughter so that she could meet her Dad for the 1st time. We had a lot of fun hanging out, talking dogs and we always love it when Customers get a chance to see the dogs in person.
It’s important for us to allow our Customers to see the dogs in person if they’re able. Tons of dogs look great online, but many are disappointments in person. At Venomline Pocket Bullies we’re proud to show off all of our dogs. We love it it when Customers get to see that our dogs are as Advertised — or better in person. It’s great when they get to meet their new puppy’s parents, to see the Sire and Dam, and the generations behind their new puppy.
7 MONTH OLD VENOM DAUGHTER “KILO” MEETS DAD
One of the things that we really enjoy is when Customers bring sons and daughters off of our Studs down for us to see and for them to get a chance to meet their dads. Venom “Chunk” absolutely loves it. He has a blast playing with them and as a breeder- it’s always rewarding to to see exceptional offspring that we may not always get a chance to see in person when we provide the Stud Service and didn’t whelp the litter.
It takes a lot to impress us, especially with a bully this young (7 months). Typically, this is a time where they are awkward teens. Around this age, pups are often in between growth spurts and not even close to maturity. But this girl impressed the hell out of us!
Kilo is one beautiful bull and she’s going to be very special as an adult.
MS. KILO OF BUCKS COUNTY BULLIES
Kilo is a 7 month old pocket bully produced by Cody over at Minnesota Toros. Shout out to Cody for producing such an incredible female and thank you for trusting in our program and for choosing Venom at Stud. You did good my friend, you produced one hell of a litter! Kilo is currently owned by our friends over at Bucks County Bullies.

All of our Studs are tightly bred and carry all colors. Using a linebred or inbred Stud over a scatter bred one usually shows in the consistency of a litters. It’s not too difficult to figure out why.. it’s simple math. A dog carrying more copies of desired genes had a higher likelihood of passing them on to their offspring.
But, this also rings true with negative, undesired or recessive traits that you may not have even known existed as well. So it’s not for the novice breeder, it’s best to leave any type of inbreeding to experienced breeders.

VENOMLINE’S VIXEN
After Joe took off for the airport, we decided to clean up Vixen up for a quick photo update.
This girl is looking too good to keep hidden out. Vixen is our keeper female from King V’s 1st litter with Xena. She’s got a really unique look to her with her lilac tri coat, Venomline light eyes, all white face and tri color marking only on the left side like a mask.
She also has some of the old school Gottiline specking on her face. I love it when that comes out, you don’t see it as often anymore. We are thrilled with the head, bone and show quality structure King V is stamping on his pups.
They have been some of the shortest, thickest pups we’ve ever seen at this age. They’ve also been super compact with short backs. A long back on an otherwise nice bully ruins it for me. Limousine backs are a pet peeve of mine, we’ve got to have them short.

Our dogs are DNA & Health Tested, pups come with health certificate, ABKC registration paperwork, shots & de-worming as well as a health guarantee covering any genetic related issues. THE FEMALES OF VENOMLINE
Venomline females are known for being some of the “bulliest” and most Extreme females on the planet. But what separates us from many other breeders are the females used as part of our breeding program.
It’s simple to use a top Stud, anyone can do that… but at Venomline, we know that it takes both a Top level Stud and a Top Level bitch to produce quality litters on a consistent basis.
QUALITY FEMALES ARE INTEGRAL TO A BREEDING PROGRAM’S SUCCESS
Females are integral to the success of any breeding program. Without using quality females to pair with Top Studs, litters more than likely just end up being a watered down version of what was initially intended. Knowing this, our primary focus for the past 8 years has been to produce the best possible Pocket Bully Females to match up with our Top Tier Studs.
One thing that we never lost sight of as we added the dense bone, big blocky heads, muscular builds and Extreme features, is producing a complete dog. A lot of the “Extreme” American Bullies today, or at least many of the dogs being marketed as such.. are not what we would consider a complete American Bully.

THE FOUNDATION & NEXT GENERATION FEMALES OF VENOMLINE
It’s fairly easy to add mass and Extreme features… what’s not easy is producing that on a complete bull. One with angulation along with a thick strong rear on a dog that may exhibit extreme traits but is still functional. If a dog can’t run and play, in our opinion.. that’s a failure.
There are not too many kennels that are currently combining the “wow factor” and extreme traits desired in the breed while also producing balanced dogs from head to rear that are fully functional and athletic for the breed and still able to excel in the show ring.

We hardly, if ever have pups on the ground waiting to be sold. Our litters are usually sold out by the time that the pups are born and most litters are reserved in advance.
